Well, I expect that it won't become too much of an issue, but I would be rather uncomfortable if this went on for more than a day.

There are a lot of ways the soul can manifest; I'm more concerned about them getting eaten.

There are plenty of beings that feed on them, and still others that simply use them as power sources.
