This is the first thing I saw on the internet today.
Actually, a bulk mailbox full of porn but no real emails was the first.
But this was the first real thing and it is beautiful and bittersweet.
Rae, I have realized that you are the glue that holds it all together around here and things have been, well, unsticky in your absence. I am sooooo happy to know that you are having an awful time. Heh. Actually, that isn't true. But I had to give a voice to my bitterness that everyone chose MY BIRTHDAY to be away. Hello?! I thought it was all about me! No seriously, you and Karen just need to make out during sex more and I am sure that everything will be okay. But whatever you do--don't process anything. And keep her hoped up on booze and pills the whole time she is here. And if you need it, I am sure that mere and I can be cajoled into dancing around the kitchen for her. Just get back here dammit!
Mere has a lovley evening planned for me involving Pakwan and the Killowatt 'champers and polaroid' special. So me birthday needs are well taken care of. Though I will force everyone to celebrate me again upon your return. Actually, Byran already offered up you ass for a Cara appreciation day. So get on that with him STAT.

Aww. . . now I am crying AGAIN. And here I thought only karen would make me cry this week . . . what's next, will I cry at the freakin wedding? Probably not, as karen likes to remind me, I wasn't even invited and had to call and ask if I could come (remember, I was drunk and at your house when I did it). She seems to think it's because I slept with the groom, but shit, we all know that ain't it. Probably just a little bookkeeping error.

But anyway. I am glad that you are bitter and are celebrating my misery. I too am bitter, and miserable, and am glad to hear that my absence makes you equally as miserable. It just goes to show not only how incredibly selfish we are (as in, at the Mommie Dearest party, ,when I said that you were beautiful and then asked Mere's mom if she thought you looked like me! Ha! I was serious, too!!), but also how much love we have. I heart you big time, and believe me, I am super bummed out that I am missing the birthday (and the Pakwan, dammit).

I'll try to keep that kissing thing in mind, though last night, during the first, we were playing a little "get our minds off of things" round of Taboo, and K's clue to me was "something we haven't done with your mouth in a long time." I guess it's true.
