I have finally arrived

I don't have much to say...I never usually do, that's why I don't usually post. I arrived in Austin last Saturday, the 5th, and I spent the day unpacking and getting situated. I spent most of Sunday shopping for more things in my dormroom and welcoming Ivy, my roommate. Orientation started Monday, and that was completely overwhelming. Besides living in the middle of a huge city, we had to hurry from meeting to seminar to other random buildings. As orienation continued throughout the week, I got advised on the classes to take this fall, learned about those courses, and registered for my classes on the final day. My schedules not too shabby, except that I'm taking 14 hours, but I'm especially excited about my history of rock music class, which is supposed to be hard to get in to. I start classes on monday for summer school and I'm kinda nervous. Actually, I'm really nervous.

So, life here is good. I know there's still that one thing missing, but I knew this would be how it is, and I can't do anything about it but accept it. However, I'm really happy and I wouldn't want to change a thing.

College is great. I can't wait for all the good things to come, in every aspect. Hope everyone is having a great summer! I miss you guys!
