I don't know for sure, but when the teaser trailer dropped, people were saying he's Hyotei's coach (instead of Sakaki).

Maybe Yamato failed out of 3rd year, but was too embarrassed to stay on at Seigaku, so he took Hyoutei's entrance exams. I hope he's not the new Sakaki. :/

He looks simultaneously cool & dorky, which is why I immediately thought Oshitari, despite looking nothing like him. I'm not sure where a new member would fit in, anyway. Who are they planning to drop! Unless he's supposed to be one of those guys who play the first of Hyoutei's matches, instead of the actual regulars.
