"W-well you know I just kinda..." He didn't know what to say. Why exactly was this happening? "Uhhh..." Why couldn't he say something other than 'uhh' or not stutter? Where had his mind gone? Why did they look so beautiful and hot and wow? this had to be a dream. Well it was a dream...
"If you really...uhh...w-were, you know, serious and stuff, I'm free on Wednesday."
The two boy's in front of him stared at him shock, probably that he'd actually agreed to the farce. William glared down at his food, feeling his face heating up and waiting for the laughter and cameras. As was so want to happen with him.
Instead each of his balled fists was grasped by a silky smooth pair of hands. He jerked his head up in surprise to see a pair of the most dazzling smiles that he had ever been blessed to see.
"Really, Will?"
"We are so-"
"-overjoyed! Thank you for-"
"-deciding to give us-"
"-a chance! Oh Will I can't even say...!"
"Nor can I!"
He was going to go into cardiac arrest, he knew it. "Uhh, it's...I just..."
"No we understand!" Hao brought William's hand to his chest, forcing the other boy to lean forwards a little awkwardly, "Don't we?"
"We do! And we promise-"
"-to be more articulate for you. I know we must-"
"-confuse you at least a little. It's okay-"
"-we understand."
While Hao was holding his left hand tightly Tao was opening his other hand to lace their fingers together, "We will pick you up after school on Wednesday."
"Just leave it to us." Hao nodded, gently releasing the gaping boy's hand, "I'll make sure Tao doesn't mess anything up in his excitement."
"And I'll make sure Hao isn't such a stick in the mud." Tao paused and tilted his head, "That is-"
"Yes that's the saying. Not that I am."
William shook his head, he didn't know if he could keep up with them. But looking at them, how sweet they seemed, gentle almost, a so beautiful. Well it wouldn't hurt to try he didn't think.
But those twins definitely weren't normal.
But as the brown haired boy nearly passed out when Tao administered daring kisses on his arm, which earned the Asian boy another scornful staring contest with his brother, William decided he could deal with 'not normal'.
Curiouser and Curiouser (Epilogue)kitkahtyAugust 14 2009, 20:24:58 UTC
"Telepathy?" William nodded at the two boys who stared back nervously, ignoring their dinner in their anxiousness. It was sad how much about them telepathy would explain.
"And auras." Tao added with a wry smile, "I'm better at auras, Hao is much better at telepathy."
The twins were clasping each other's pale hands tightly as Hao continued, "Tao has very much improved with telepathy. It's all about practice. Sadly there's no way to improve my sight."
"I do not have the patience to train my mind two hours a day as Hao does," Tao's silver eyes darted down, "Embarrassing though it is to admit."
"There's no reason to be embarrassed, I am predisposed to expand my powers faster."
"I know but-"
"Don't be silly."
"Yes. You're right."
William knew they were only speaking out loud because of nervousness. It was odd how well he had gotten to know them in a few short months. He could already tell Hao and Tao apart on sight and knew so many little quirks about them. Hao's surprising habit of drinking milk out of the bag, Tao's unusual need to have all his books in alphabetical order.
"I guess there's no reason you couldn't be telepathic." It explained all of those long silences where they just stood around and looked at each other, how they always knew where each other was, how they finished each other's sentences, "Who am I to say, right? I'm not the one with telepathy. If you're psychic then...cool I guess."
The boys relaxed visibly and William relaxed a little with them. He had been able to tell they were nervous from the time that they had asked him to come over to their apartment for dinner, and now he knew why. They were telling him that they were...well. It was kind of weird but it made sense.
"We are so happy-" Hao started with a smile,
"-one never knows how people will react. But as our boyfriend we had to tell you." Tao chuckled softly, "It was auras that lead us to you. Gold and red is a very unusual combination-"
"-very good luck-"
"-and so warm." They smiled at each other before turning the full force of their smile onto William. It never ceased to stun him how beautiful they were, and how amazing it was that they were so kind and gentle behind that beauty, "I knew you were a good person when I saw that. Not a trace of black on you. Honest, kind, trustworthy, gentle and lucky in your endeavors."
"And pretty."
"Very pretty."
"Yeah right, pretty," William couldn't help but mumble it skeptically as he looked at the twins, "You want pretty, look in a mirror. Or forget the mirror, look at each other."
The twins looked each other over for a moment, "Different pretty." They concluded together in a manner that made no sense at all but apparently was the last word on the subject. As most things that they said together were.
"Psychic, huh?" William tapped his chopsticks thoughtfully at the edge of his plate, "Is that how you figured out I was, you know, gay?"
The twins smiled and Tao chuckled while Hao answered, "No. Tao was just getting ahead of himself again."
"It was a risk for for a gold red I would try." The black haired boy shrugged nonchalantly, "It was worth it."
Hao shot him a look before moving into a smile, "I suppose you're right."
William shook his head again. How had he ended up with the most messed up love life ever? Two insane and insanely gorgeous twins that wanted to be with him for his aura. Two people who he fit in with in a scarily perfect manner. Two boys who he was dating and falling hard for and who were both so okay with it that it broke every convention he'd ever grown up with.
He smiled wryly at the twins, "Don't let me wake up, okay?"

Ah! I love you! :D This was awesome. So so so cute. I want to squish all of them until they pass out from my deadly hug! And you, too! *flails* Loved the telepathy/aura thing, too. So lovely *shiny eyes*
Your little warnings at the beginning made me laugh XD The first line actually came from my rewrite of "Hansel & Gretel", which involved twincest and a threesome. :D Hurhurhur.
