Chicago was as amazing as ever. My ankle held up even better than expected. We got there around three and hung out at my friend Kara's work, where we proceeded to get free community center t-shirts. Then we headed down to The Beat Kitchen for the Lucky Boys Confusion show. They were great acoustic. Kara came to pick us up and then we headed back to Kalamazoo to avoid a supposed storm. Once we got to Chicago, we realized Ludo was playing the Metro, which sucked because I would have loved to see them headline there.
Saturday, Ken surprised me with tickets to see The Spill Canvas and Ludo in Grand Rapids. I hadn't talked to him since I basically broke up with him on his birthday (I know, I'm terrible). So, we headed up to GR and had a great time, despite Good Will Hunting by Ludo mentioning getting dumped on your birthday...
I've been hanging out with Jason a lot lately, and it's been super fun. He's coming home to Detroit with me on Friday because my friend Sammy is in town from L.A. for his sister's graduation. I cant' wait... I haven't seen him since October.
