I am incredibly lucky.

I find the only way to catch up is through simplicity. I encourage everyone to do the same, I’ll read it all. And this may seem repetitive, I’m honestly not sure though. I was reading some journals and realized how expected and full circle many people seem to be. It’s like there is no such thing as an update, only a fresh reminder that we’re all still the same. I am thankful for that in some cases though. I don’t want anyone to change anyways.

Friday: I had been looking forward to a full weekend of no plans and Zach at arms length but because of flippin’ MILEAGE his parents didn’t want him to come to Charlotte. It’s not like he can walk here, there will be some mileage demanded in a long distance relationship. I sat in on a Drugstore Cowboys practice, everyone be excited. I see promise behind my shut eyelids, rapture!! I like smiles and catching humor, I like the messing around after practice is over, I like three songs in a row. I can’t say how important those males are to my life, however, I can swear that they astound me and will not allow for a fragment of sadness. Downstairs we sat around while Ryan’s pair of pants dried and discovered that Lucy has become schizophrenic! I still have fine gashes on my hand from her fury. Taylor joins, we advent. Then we went to Harris Teeter to get roses and juice made from garlic, broccoli, seaweed, and a ton of Vitamin A. Then over to Barnes and Nobles to read comic books and magazines and laugh until my stomach hurt over Charles Barkley “I might be wrong but I doubt it” knocking books of the table to attract attention. Later we went dumpster diving Krispy Kreme (glaze only!) to Manhattan Bagel (playing ring toss with Asher!) to Nora’s bakery. A lot of people were at Grady Cole when we drove by, I don’t regret missing a thing.

Saturday: Sleeping in, Work, Zach. Hey gorgeous. Tell me my weekend wasn’t perfect and I will smack some sense into you crazy! I love this mix, mmmmmm. Occasionally there is no reason for friends only. I might drop my guard a bit.
