Hi, all--
I am now in the ranks of the unemployed. I am trying to get my dream of a career in arts/crafts off the ground. I have limited resources. Which do you think I should tackle first?
Imagekind will allow me to sell my artwork (especially stuff I've done in the past) as print-on-demand art prints. Upgrading my existing gallery will give me more space for uploads and more "galleries" for organization.
Cafe Press would let me do the same; upgrading would allow me a wider selection of items to sell.
Upgrading Flickr would help me promote my art/crafts, especially my stuff in progress (but then again, so would a blog with sufficient space for hosting images...)
There are online courses that teach you how to use various graphic design programs out there, if I need to go the "office job" route. I'm lacking in the actual "how to use the software" department
Currently, I do not hold any memberships in any organizations. Doing so would give me access to that org's resources, as well as networking opportunities, etc, etc.
Or maybe you have a better idea. :)
Poll Where should my resources go?Thanks for your opinion. I don't want anyone to make up my mind for me, but at the same time, I don't want to make a hideously stupid decision with something as important as my future.
