recommendations, please
I am thinking of starting an honest, gosh-darn blog for my arts & crafts. Not just what I'm doing, but my musing about self-promotion & branding, random thoughts on stuff I see (in the art arena), my creative philosophy... things like that.
So my question for you is-- what is the best free blog service out there, that is easy to upgrade, should I decide to go that route?
Don't assume too much knowledge or tech-savvy on my part, although I am willing to learn. But if it's too complicated to start with, I will probably give it a pass. Basically, I'm looking for something easy to set up that doesn't take a genius to make something nice, and when I get more education, I can customize it how I see fit. Which will honestly probably be limited to CSS to make it look nice, but I may also want to "move" it to a unique domain, integrate a Cafe Press (and possibly other stores) on it, etc, etc.
I am parked on a Blogger name, and I've been looking at Wordpress... Pros and cons of the various ones out there would be nice. Your assistance is much appreciated (and yes, I am looking into this on my own, I'm not just being lazy and asking the internets!) *g*
