Well, hello everyone. I have safely made my trip to North Carolina even though I had a few hurdles to cross. We'll start out with Saturday night. Christmas went great, got some really cool stuff, no complaints. Brandy came over around 10ish and we watched Vann Wilder cuz shes never seen it. Unfortunatly, she decided that she no longer wanted to keep her word and take me to the airport (I think she said 7:30 was too early for her) so I was forced to find a last second pity ride to the airport. I called all my friends I could think of to take me, but of course, no luck and I wasnt surprised. Candice, my dad's girlfriends, niece ended up being kind enough to take me....for 50 bucks! Right...kind. Anyways, it was my only option left so I had to take it. Got to the airport nice and early and had plenty of time to wait in the extremely long lines. So I did, no problem, I got there 2 hours before my plane was scheduled to depart. Waited in line at the baggage check for carry ons (which was not short by any means) and when I finally get to the front, the lady treated me alittle differently than the people ahead and behind me. There were three lines, #1, #2, and a big blank line with lots of people in it. She took my ticket highlighted it, and sent me on my way to line #1. This line was completely empty and I was finally relieved that I, Jeremy Moses, finally had some luck on my side. So I started walking up to the front of the line, just gloating as I passed family after family after family. The man at the front of the line informs me I have to take everything out of my pockets including my jacket I was wearing with my bag and place it on the conveyer belt. I did as I was instructed and walked through the metal detector as it beeps. I forgot I was wearin my studded belt and had to repeat the first step again minus my belt. So I did and then came the good part....He told me to have a seat. I sat and the big black guy enters with the "wand." He takes my shoe off and rubs the wand around my legs and feet. Then repeats with the other. Then tells me "stand and spread em like an airplanes" and of course I did. So while he was frisking me and pating down every nook and cranny, I see all the happy families I passed in line slowly pass me. Finally they let me put back on my clothes and take off the chearleader outfit as they put away the handcuffs and whips and I was on my way toward the gates. Waited around there for awhile and finally got to depart Orlando a mere 20 minutes late and arriving in Raleigh-Durham around 1 oclock. It was a chilly 30 degrees when I arrived and got to see some snow on the ground that had fallen earlier that morning. I have yet to see snow fall yet but I did see some on the ground and stuff. Hopefully that will change in the next few days. Im not to positive when I plan to return, but it will be by the end of the weekend. I'm having alot of fun and have already been to two different malls, three different restaurants, and a movie in the last day and a half. I cant wait to see what we do tomorrow. I'm tired...all this fun is catching up to me. Im gonna hit the hay.
