That's it. The reasoning behind the choice and then a runner-up is that instead of allotting an entire point (there being 24 categories, and thus a total of 24 points for correct predictions) to one choice, I decided to hedge my bets by selecting two predictions, though throwing more weight to one over the other. Thus my first choice is worth .75 of a point, while the runner-up is worth .25. This way the maximum score I can receive is 18 out of 24, but it allows for greater chance of the winner being one of the two I chose. Also, for all intensive purposes of forcing my prediction onto one nominee, my first choice will the one I throw my support behind. Through this way, I can see how many of the 24 categories I correctly predicted with just one choice for each category. Thanks for reading, if you've gotten this far. Hopefully things go well...
