It's almost Thanksgiving and I'm thankful that my dad's surgery went well and that he's in good enough spirits to milk it at church events, that my brother is home and acting like more of an adult, my mom is busy enough to not drink herself to sleep anymore, Jeffy is realativly healthy and loves me terribly, my job is going well, Heather is engaged, Jon is going to go back to school and my grandparents are still amazing and here with us. Now if only I could feel the earthly love this stupid season is supposed to bring. Jon is supposed to be back in Corpus for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I'm looking forward to working through as much of the holidays as possible.

What a year.
I've got a new year's resolution lined up - I'm going to stop wasting money on a gym membership I haven't used yet. I'm also going to become more self-reliant. It's a dual resolution.
