for what it's worth, "soma" in greek means 'body,' specifically in opposition to 'sema,' the soul. the body was seen as a prison for the soul. i just thought that was interesting in light of the whole bnw connotation of the word.

that is interesting.. but i think soma has taken on the meaning of Brave New World instead of that of the body, don't you think? I mean for anyone who uses the word "soma" of course...
