[Text] Expedition Report.
2300 hours, December 28th, 20?? (Time flows strangely in this place; everyone claims they're from a different year. I can't be certain which one--if any--is accurate.)
Expedition carried out by myself and Commander Kresnik Ahtreide of "Brionac" (whatever that is) beginning at approx. 1400 hours. Supplies: laptop, communicator, notebook, pen, camera, compass, bottled water, weapon, flashlights.
Ventured into Eastern District of terribly named "the City" (though it is the only name any of us are aware of). Encountered only one hostile, easily dispatched with my prototype "bright gun" (name temporary, suggestions welcome). Unfortunately, prototype broke. Design must have been less stable than I previously thought. Will continue to modify and test until satsifactory model is created.
Spotted strange building at approx. 1500 hours, towering over most others. Strange feeling when approaching it... not sure how to describe it. Dark? Uneasy? Shadow creatures were strangely absent. Finally reached doors approx. 30 minutes later. Gothic lettering above door: "HEART BANK". Still unsure as to what this means.
Inside, found long white hallway lined with square metal doors, reminiscent of safes in, well, a bank. Most doors appeared different, save several of the first few we encountered. Each had a name above the door, all in various different languages. Managed to jot down a few of the ones in the languages I recognize.

First entered the room labeled "Howell Jenkins". Was unable to find anything of note, as the room was completely empty. Commander Ahtreide directed my attention to the door labeled "郷家神樹", which was covered in several chains, rusty, broken and useless. It appears whatever or whoever was in it escaped. A look inside (door opened thanks to Ahtreide's help; I was unable to move it) brought the smell of blood, which covered the ground and some of the walls. Extremely dark and strangely cold. Countless picture frames were shattered on the floor, several pieces of ruined furniture were knocked over, and a fireplace and several candles stood unused. One frame contained picture of Commander Ahtreide. Unsure of the significance of this.
Continued down hallway and stopped at door labeled "カイト" at Ahtreide's request. Inside was a small red-haired boy (dark red, an unnatural color) and piles of what appeared to be broken instruments, clothes, dolls, and books. Extremely dusty. One doll, with blue hair, was life-size and... if my eyes served me right, moved on its own and made a strange hoarse noise at the sight of Ahtreide. As it moved it seemed to shatter slightly, parts of it cracking off. We decided to leave for the time being and recoup before attempting any more investigation.
As we exited the building, we came across a young man with dull brown hair, whom Ahtreide referred to as "Shinju". This... being called himself Despair, claiming he was a "homonculus", something "more than human and less than human". He turned to leave without answering many of our questions, and--I hesitate to write this--appeared to transform into water and disappear.
I'm not entirely certain what useful information I can gleam from this... apparent nonsense. Any input is appreciated.

Commander Ahtreide has been acting strangely as of late. At beginning of expedition, he seemed not to care much about it, despite it being his idea. He didn't seem to have much reaction at being attacked by the "Shade", only weakly fighting back. Even when we discovered those strange rooms, he barely gave any indication of surprise or curiosity. Only when we encountered that strange... person did he give any sort of reaction. However, he became violent. It's a bit worrisome. To any who interacts with him on a normal basis: take caution.
