RIP Frank McCourt, one of my most favorite authors. Angela's Ashes has been on the shelf right above my desk (The Shelf of Honor, which also holds most of Pullman's work, the Shakespeare book Mr. Doering gave me, and One Hundred Years of Solitude) since I first read it (how old was I? 12 or 13?), and there it will stay with 'Tis and Teacher ManI'm ( Read more... )

Awwww! This year is a fucking year of death. I'm sorry. I was extremely upset when Vonnegut died, so I understand. <3
