Since I'm too lazy to make an intro post and I don't think I'm all that interesting, let this be a substitute.

Rules: Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 16 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 16 people to be tagged.
1. I hate condiments. HATE. Mayo is disgusting, ketchup is the devil, and I can only tolerate about two kinds of salad dressing. It is a very bad day if I go to In-N-Out, make the simple request of not wanting any of that goddamn sauce, and get it anyway. Or worse, get ketchup instead. UUGGGH.
2. Maid in Manhattan is my guilty pleasure movie. I like some other corny movies, but I wouldn't classify them as guilty pleasures. When I watch Maid in Manhattan, I can actually feel myself wince inside, and I know it's nonsense, but I can't help it. It's all for Ralph Fiennes and his horrible American (I think? Is that was he was going for?) accent. That, and I have good memories of watching it in Starr's room in old times before we were BFFs.
OKAY RESOLUTION: any time Maid in Manhattan is on, I will fight the compulsion to see it and pop in Oscar and Lucinda instead, because that has Cate Blanchett and RF is adorable.
3. When I started college I was pre-med (don't ask me why. TO THIS DAY, I don't know what I was thinking), but gave it up when I realized I couldn't get from Classics 40 (Greek Mythology) to my required Chemistry class in just ten minutes without a bike. So I dropped Chem and started on the path to Classics.
4. Oh yeah, I can't ride a bike.
5. I still sleep with stuffed animals. Half my bed is actually occupied by stuffed animals, and I only sleep on one half.
6. I don't read half as much as I used to. I will fix it, dammit.
7. I played the alto sax from fifth grade all the way through high school, and despite how much I loved it, I haven't touched it since then. I don't know why. I also taught myself to play the bass clarinet when football season was over and band did concert pieces. That thing was beat up and shitty (like most things the band had), and the bell would just fall off unexpectedly, but I loved it.
8. About 4 people have told me I share a first name with their cat, 2 or 3 with their dogs, and 2 with their grandmothers (I'm actually thankful for the grandmothers, they are human).
9. Despite thinking myself unattractive, I like looking at myself in the mirror. Yeah, sometimes I do it and point out all these "flaws" on my face, but usually I think stuff like: "DAMN I have excellent eyebrows", or "my lips are perfectly shaped, I like them".
10. If I could get away with wearing a full on Victorian outfit with a bustle and shit, I'd totally do it. Something like this. Maybe not daily, since I do love just jeans and t-shirts, but not as a costume, either. I just love their clothes more than anyone else's.
11. I'm sad I stopped reading ohnotheydidnt only because I missed the most amazing post of all time. I discovered it today and laughed so hard I almost cried.
12. I have a pretty fancy phone but don't actually use it for calls too much. I don't get many calls and I don't make any because no matter how good of a friend whoever I'm calling is, I think I'm bothering them. I don't know why, it's just one of the many weird things I think in my head.
13. Dark chocolate is my absolute favorite, I can only tolerate a few brands of milk chocolate (like Galaxy bars. omfg so good), and white chocolate can suck it.
14. I haven't heard from my suitor at 7-11. Last year I lived a few stores away from 7-11 and of the cashiers I liked talking to in Spanish, one of them had a bit of a crush on me. He asked me out for a drink (I thought he was kidding and I stood him up! If I'd known he was serious, I would have said no, dammit), and asked not for my number, but for my email address because he was learning how to use a computer.
15. I have a habit of staying up WAY too late doing pointless things. *ahem*
16. My checks feature Peanuts characters, and my checkbook has Snoopy on it.
