These are both from Sufjan Stevens' amazing Christmas EPs, Hark! Songs for Christmas Vol. II specifically.
Angels We Have Heard On High
Only 46 seconds long, but oh so cute. I think last year when I actually had a playlist called LUDACHRISTMAS that was in some sort of order and not just all my Christmas music bunched together, this started it all off. It's really very pretty, I love it.
I Saw Three Ships
This is another song I don't really like by itself, but I love the instrumentation on this. Well done, Sufjan. He helped me make my peace with this song. Every other version of this in our missing collection of Christmas CDs was deathly slow and boring, no matter who was singing. This is fun and bouncy :D
