I don't feel like whining about the stupid registrar's office, so here's a quote from the two hour and 30 minute phone call between Val and me:
Val had been telling me about some shenanigans on Top Chef: Chicago, where the challenge was to upgrade tacos so they were fancy. Two of the "chefs" refused to do it, implying tacos weren't worthy and I got angry as she told me this. But that's for another entry.
Me: I don't know where [my parents] went, I just know that when they come back, they're bringing me tacos.
Val: Fancy tacos?
Me: Yes, from the finest van in East Los Angeles.
