Also, it has been two years since I met David Thewlis, so double-yay. :D
Yesterday was a good day. Val and I stayed up FAR too late the night before watching Buffy (season two). We finished season two a lot faster since we're missing a disc. I don't know why. I borrowed my brother's box sets and they are missing disc 4 from season 2 (which has "Surprise" on it) and now we've discovered that season 3 is missing disc 2. What gives, Robbie?
Anyway back to yesterday. We got up insanely late in the day, but that was ok. Our only real plan for the day was dinner at Brittny's place (which is really cute and very nicely set up). We had breakfast for dinner and decided we should make this a tradition. In Val's words, specifically the breakfast part. Brittny made us delicious pancakes, a tasty fruit salad, and Val and I helped with really fluffy scrambled eggs. So so tasty! Aharon came too, and it was nice hanging out with him properly. Just saying, we hadn't really met but the rest of the Awesome Dept. hung out with him over the summer.
After dinner/breakfast we just chilled, watching youtube videos, including
'Daft Hands', which I'm now obsessed with. (Curse my stubby hands for being unable to do any of that!)
Aharon left soon after we saw the last episode of Flight of the Conchords because he was tired. Then Val whipped out the good old "Would you rather?" question book. My favorite question was something along the lines of: "would you rather live in a world where playing video games was a lucrative career, or where a person's D&D stats were printed on their driver's license?"
hehehe! I'd like both, please.
We managed to not leave until 2:20 am, although it felt like we'd just finished eating. I had no idea we'd spent that much time at Brittny's.
When we got home we finished off season two.
What is it with me finding Xander more attractive this time around? I want to smack him every time he goes on his anti-Angel rants, but still! I'd kiss him to keep his damn mouth shut. And I get what Val was saying about how Angel was hotter on Buffy than on Angel. He just kinda... squared out on his own series, whereas on Buffy, he was much leaner. Physically, of course, this isn't some weird criticism of David's acting. IN CONCLUSION: I would do him in a heartbeat on Buffy, but I'd have to think about it on Angel. Unless he gave me the puppy eyes he does oh-so-well.
Also, I missed Oz. :(
Now that we're on season three we're only an episode away from Faith. UGH. Oh well.
