excrucies indeed!

Huh. So that random poem on my Latin final I couldn't for the life of me remember was 76.

I don't remember doing that one. I have notes for it and everything. It looks hard, judging from all the scratching out and correcting I did in pen, but I seriously don't remember it. Ah well, I did my best. It felt quite good overall, since we had to scan a portion of 5 and translate a bit of 8, my two top favorites. Oh, Catullus! He was great fun, I'll miss him. Now I just need to find a proper English translation of his poems as a reference, of course, since I should read any of his other poems in Latin, really.

Now I'm just killing time before my Greek Civ final, which isn't until four, but I have things to do. Like study a bit and go over to the Summer Sessions office and ask them why they're being jerks and telling me I need to submit a form along with my application which they have no link to on their website. wtf. The whole application, statement of purpose, and deposit is due April 1, and that kind of sneaked up on me. I didn't realise April 1 is a Sunday. Soooo, I'll try to turn it in tomorrow, but since I need to interview with Professor Lee (Crete FTW!), I have to email him to set that up AND ask if that can be taken care of after April 1st. blaaaargh.

At some point I'll get out of here and walk all the way over to the ass-end of campus and demand to know wtf is up with the mysteriously missing application pieces. hmmph!

edit: back! How very misleading! The Classics and SS websites both lead me to believe that the application came first, then the interview. Then the nice women at the SS office and Gallucci told me it was the other way around. At any rate, Lee just emailed me back saying he's going out of town but I can email him my application stuff and we can have a phone interview. How exciting!
