Oooh La!

so!

We (my parents and I) went out with Target as our main destination.

However, we had to stop at Tower Records because somebody wanted fucking Clap Your [Fucking] Hands Say Yeah tickets, but that was a failure since they're not on sale yet or whatever. I wasn't paying attention, I was busy deciding between a Jack Sparrow poster and a Vito Corleone et chat poster. Just kidding, I just chose the Jack Sparrow poster, which is awesomeness and a lot better than the two I used to have. This one kicks both their asses blindfolded.

So after wasting all that time at Tower I was cranky and didn't really feel like going to Target, but I went along anyway. I figured I might as well just get down to business and look for bathroom stuff for Val and myself. I closed my eyes, feeling slightly sleepy, and when I opened them we were pulling in to the Alhambra Target. I fucking HATE the Alhambra Target. It is the most disgusting, tacky, disorganised Target EVER. The shitty Goleta K-Mart looked classier in its shitty days before they fired all the hicks, hired real people, and generally cleaned it up. Then my dad gets angry at me for getting angry for being in Alhambra, pulling the "WE ALWAYS COME HERE" card when we NEVER do! Not anymore! Not since the fancy, CLEAN, two-story Target opened in Pasadena. I didn't even remember what the fuck I wanted from Target, I was so upset. My dad looked at their TVs (for my room in September) and we left because they were lame.

Then we just went to Main St. and dropped by Perfectly Sweet, my most favorite pastry shop ever. Just saying, they have this excellent chocolate raspberry cake. It's so rich and wonderful. I want that ish served at my wedding. I will accept no substitutes. So I had tea to go with my ickle cake and I got over my anger. The little plaza next door had a band playing. I texted Catherine telling her they were a Beatles cover band, but they weren't. They were just a bunch of old guys playing old songs. They were playing Beatles songs, but literally, the second I sent her the message, they played some other song from the 60s. Whatevs, they didn't suck.

I want more cake. That cake is seriously so good. I seriously want a huge ass version of it at my wedding, and I will eat nothing else. The guests can bring their own fucking cakes, that one's all mine.

I hope we go to the good Target tomorrow. Aside from bathroom stuff I really wanted to look at their assortment of pretty bras. All my bras are laaaaaaaaaaaame.

Also, as much as I love The Office and am happy for the show, Arrested Development deserved the win more.

edit: The Girl in the Cafe, that movie Brittny and I randomly watched at SB a few months ago with the girl from Trainspotting, totally won the Emmy for Outstanding Made for TV movie. I have just a bit more faith in David Yates' skillzzz now(he just earned that extra Z). And I think Trainspotting girl (why can't I remember her real name?!!) won for TV movie actress. Hooray all around!

edit: CONAN!! EMMY INTRO!! YEEEESSSSS!!

going from LOST to The Office = THE BEST THING EVER!!!!

chocolate cake, the office, target, emmys, tv: arrested development, chocolate, conan
