HOLY CRAP, KEANE!!
Oh..ohohohohohoh!!
SUCH A FUCKING GOOD SHOW!!
OMG, I don't even know where to start... eeeee!!
We set off at about one, and walked around for about an hour. The show was at the Avalon, formerly the Palace. I hate that place with a passion, cos that's where the awful STD show was, BUT! it's sooo redeemed itself! Anywho, Jackie, Carol, and I (Christina couldn't go! :( ) went to the same 7-11 we went to when we saw the Darkness. It wasn't that far away, about a block or two. We hung out at the laundromat next door, because JEBUS! It was sooo friggin' hot!
We went back to the Avalon at about three, and only one guy was chillin' outside. His name was Mike, and he was really neat! He was about our age and he went to Schurr. XD Small world! We brought out the boom box and listened to cds, instead of just sitting around doing nothing. Boomboxes are great for making friends! This other group even lent us some cds so we could all enjoy!
BUT!
Before that, we found out that the opening band would be none other than THE FRENCH KICKS!! eeeeeeeeeeeee!! I was all giggling! We saw them step out of their van, and Mike was all: "GO talk to them!" but I didn't, cos I suck. XD
AND THEN!!
KEANE!!
They had been off doing an in-store at Virgin, but when they came to the venue we saw them and the four of us were all spasaming! Especially cos they walked into their tour bus! BUT THEN THEY CAME OUT!! AND OMG!! Jackie and Mike went right up to them, and they got to meet Tim, and I could just SEE Jackie was giggling like an idiot. By that time, the nice group of people had come to stand next to us.. andeee!!!
RICHARD IS SUCH A SWEETHEART!!!

He said hello to like... all five of us just looking like idiots at him. :D OMG AND WHEN HE CAME TO ME!! *DIES*

Richard: Sure? You haven't been to an in-store..?
Me: eehehehe... *shakes head*
Richard: Ah, you look familiar. Oh well! Now we can meet properly!
Me: eeeehe... *shakes his hand* I'm Mitzi! *spasm*
Richard: *goes off to Carol, greets her, and looks down at our boombox now playing "Somwhere Only We Know" Wow... we've never seen this. Wicked. Oh, you've got The Killers, nice! Well, enjoy the show!!

Oh GOD the show itself was just... wonderful.
The French Kicks were awesome! We are all in love with Ben, especially cos he just gave Carol a pin afterwards when we were at their merch table. :D:D:D

omgomgomgomg... The crowd was just so loud and they were pretty impressed that we were cheering so much!
AND THEY PLAYED "SNOWED UNDER"!!! eee, I was one of the few squealing like an idiot when Tom said they were going to play that... Tom is just awesome! He dances about, messes with the mic stand, he's just... GAH! And Richard never stopped smiling!! :D Tim can sooo rock out, for reals... :D And then Jackie and I were crying during "Somewhere Only We Know." I was FINE until I turned to look at her, and then saw that she was crying! Then I cried! Then my eyes burned! XD
