Well, yesterday was my birthday, and i got lots and lots of stuff. :) so happy.
hmm... i dont wanna write too much anymore. i just came back from Montebello, but my parent's bickering is soo tiring. i got weezer booty, though. :) I got this shirt that has beeker and bunsen on it, and they have these jars infront of them with weezer's heads. hee hee! oh, and i got he blue Defenders of the Universe one. yayness! but, the weezer goodness doesn't end there! i got a patch that has the little takeout box on it, and a button. weee!
Diana and Elaine gave me this little bear/sunflower thingie that says "Sunshine" on it, becasue i'm their sunshine. yay!! oh, and Diana also gave me her sixth grade math notes. Actually, she carved out the last pages and put Spongebob pencils and a Star Wars postcard in there.
Jorge gave me m&ms and incense. woo.
ooh, Mabel gave me the pictures from the Irvine show, and a little picture stand, oh, and my south park doll. yay! all delivered in a chinese take-out box. ^_^
Mr. Gable made a big deal about my birthday and had everyone sing. my whole section congratulated me, as did the Kevins and Pim.
Mrs. Sanchez made a big deal about it too, and i guess she's gonna let me sit next to Mabel now. yay!
Mademoiselle made everyone sing in french. hee hee!
Pat gave me 2 of those sour stip thingies and one of his precious juice bars. mmm mm.
Ana gave me a kogepan notebook and a koge-cake. wee!
Carol gave me an IOU for my kogepans and a tikki candle.
Ivan gave me $5. hee hee!
GOD, I was an idiot when I was 16. -__-
And now, I'm updating in mayet's honor, because her outlet isn't working, so her computer is off. I know, the world must be ending.
And the ignorant award of the day goes to...
After the screening of Wall (Mur), at the Human Rights Watch Festival, there was a Q & A panel with some professor from UCSB. He was fielding various questions about the movie. And one elderly lady raised her hand and asked, I shit you not, "In the film she talks about the wall keeping out the Palestinian workforce, but don't the Israelis need the Palestinians to work for them? Like as maids and such?" I don't know what to say to that. There are no more words.
