So, I got back from lunch and Buttny was watching some movie with Bill Nighy in it. She asked me if the girl on screen with him was the girl from Trainspotting. I guessed yes, cos she looked like her, and we kept watching. Then I got curious as to who the hell she was, exactly, (because she'd go back and forth from looking like Diane, to not looking like her at all), so I IMDb'd this ish, and apparently it's called The Girl in the Cafe, and was made for TV by the BBC and HBO. Not only was the girl (Kelly Macdonald) Diane in Trainspotting, but I also found it was directed by David Yates. The same David Yates directing OotP. I think I'd had conversations with
mayet and
the_portkey about how we were worried that most of what Yates had done was stuff for TV we'd never even seen, and now he was doing a Harry Potter film. I'm a bit calmer about this since the movie was actually quite good, the bits of it I saw. I missed the ending cos I had Latin, but it really was quite good. There was one moment when the way the camera was moving got on my nerves, but it was just that time.
That is all.
