...damn, this wound's worse than I thought.  I expected to be able to rest it off, but it's definitely much more severe.

I can barely move my back at this point.  I don't like the idea of doing this, but I guess I'll have to have a bit of faith at this point.  It's either that or paralysis, and I've still got work to do.

rushing over and breaking out medical instruments* Snake, you have a very deep wound in your back! If we don't take care of it quickly, it could lead to infection and that could lead to a number of different problems we can avoid! Now hold still, I'm going to stitch it up and disinfect it.

*g-good luck stitching that thing up, since there's literally MISSING TISSUE in an area about the size of someone's hand there* You don't think I know that this is a serious problem?! I can't see the wound, but I felt it and it's definitely pretty severe.

*sob still doing the best she can :(* Calm down Snake. I'm trying to help. It's very deep. You have to tell me what happened later, ok? *taking out bandages and cloth and bandaging it up now* There. With this, we should be able to avoid infection and give the wound enough space to heal. I've also applied medicine to help ease the pain a bit. It should kick in very soon. I couldn't get it stitched up all the way because the wound was really wide, so you might have a scar later.
