If it is, nobody told us about it. Some people still think someone, or maybe a bunch of people, are keeping us trapped here though. They could be right, I don't know.

Really? Gee, thanks! I always considered myself a pretty reasonable role model. I'm all for other animals standin' up for themselves and all that. I don't see why they wouldn't.

*is beaming now. Elphaba loves all Animals!* Some Animals have lost that ability to stand up for themselves. When they get caged up, they lose their speech and way of thinking... changing them so that they are only simple minded. That is what the Wizard was doing in my homeland.

... R-really? That's it? I didn't know it was that serious. That's terrible! You know, there are a lot of other animals on the island. Maybe that's what happened to them, since they can't really talk.

I'm not liking the sounds of this wizard guy. He sounds like a real jerk. I'd love ta give 'em a real piece of my mind some time. Especially when he's keepin' animals locked up n' taken away their voice.

*this hits a nerve =(* The mistreatment of Animals can not be tolerated... under any circumstances. I will look into this and help the animals that need that support... even if I am away from my home, I will still keep up with my work!

He is a horrible man... a con man who came to Oz and lied to everyone. He lied to me and-- well, it doesn't matter since it's all in the past. You would be the perfect role model for everyone back home... such a big heart in one so small...

Well, I have dedicated my life in helping the Animals that were imprisoned by the Wizard. I try to make their lives easier... like a protector of sorts.

You sure are devoted. I like that, especially when it's for a good cause. Somebody's gotta look out for the animals on this here island. I know a few have tried before. I don't know about anyone being locked up in cages, but there are a lot of traps set out there. Being eaten or, uh... 'Fought for fun' seem to be the biggest problems.

Hey, I'm not that small. But I agree with everything else. You can't dwell on the past, you gotta put it behind you. And this wizard? Somebodies gotta do somethin' about him. He shouldn't be able to get away with stuff like this. I'm with you all the way. You've really got yourself into something that matters here.

My devotion runs deep... after all, it started with a dear friend. For those who have tried to help, I give them my gratitude and thanks. I will need to formulated a plan but that requires, a survey of this island... since I don't know exactly what I am up against here. I will try to eliminate all of the problems...

I wish I could let go of the past but... it's not that easy. As for the Wizard, I will handle him when I get back to Oz. His reign will soon end...
