I hate this holiday. Hell, I hate this whole damn season. Why, you ask? I just do. It's written into the fiber of my being to hate this time of year.

But I like how people ignore the however many other holidays and what have you there are around this time. Solstice, anyone? Not really? Didn't think so.

That will be difficult. Some holidays are actually useful. Others are just excuses for couples go go out and clog up the streets and make it difficult to drive. Perhaps we should determine which holidays are worth keeping around. *hear hear*

Most of the disgustingly overhyped ones. Valentine's Day is right up there. New Years is overrated too.

New Years isn't as terrible a holiday as Christmas, at least where I come from. Some bell ringing and noodle eating. Though the traffic is a bit of a pain...

Valentine's Day... hmm. I do find it aggravating to have to buy chocolate for my coworkers, so I'll go with that one.

I'd like to throw Tanabata onto that list, as I'm sure the people who have to live in the places that have tourists flocking in for it would agree.

It can be, depending on where you go. Huge crowds of obnoxious revelers too drunk to realize they're singing the wrong national anthem~

Though I am a fan of chocolate .. not the day itself.

Everyone trying to leave the city all at once and creating 50km long traffic jams are no fun when all you want to do is take a nice drive.

You shouldn't need a single day to give people chocolate. There's 364 other days in the year, you could do it at any time.
