the world just blows sometimes
When i was 12, my parents let two of my cousins come to live with us because their home situations weren't the best. Earlier this year, one of them was killed. Today my dad called me to tell me that the other was in a fight with an acquaintance of his who drew a knife. In the ensuing strugge, my cousin killed him. My cousin left afterwards, severely injured, and was eventually admitted to the hospital. There was one witness. The friend's uncle saw my cousin leaving the house covered in blood. When making his statement to the police, he gave them a profoundly inaccurate description of my cousin. Why would he do that? Becuase the boy my cousin killed is Italian, and foolish stereotypes aside, actually has relatives in the mafia. It appears as though they would rather find my cousin themselves. Once my cousin is released from the hospital, we are hoping he will turn himself in, where maybe, he will be safe. Do me a favor and pray for him. Thanks.
