happy new years to me. and to all of you i guess. sooo i'm starting the new year with being
a)unemployed
b) more awesome than usual
thats right guys and dolls, i, emily, has been axed. let go. given a leave of absense. ixnayed on the jobay. in other terms, fired.
its a sad sad world when emily has no money. i went shopping today and saw these really cute marc jacob flats for only 200 dollars and sadly, was not able to purchase these said flats. even tho with my paycheck i wouldnt have been able to anyway, the possibility was there. most people would dust themselves off (isnt that in a rap song or something, im ghetto deprived) and go out for immediate job hunting. (un)fortunatly, i am not most people. and i like to take my time. my sweet, sweet, blissfull time. but dont you livejournal kids worry. i am not privelaged. i will be poor with the rest of you. way poor. amen. lets mourn the marc jacob flats that i could have possessed (im lying) today.
