Oh god I love this so much! Good catch! I have always very much loved the idea of Sam noticing something between them before they even do!

Lol, it's utterly adorable! <33 Now I am going to be hunting for more evidence of this when I get to rewatching S4 and 5 ;)

You are doing well with finding new shows to watch! xD Lucky duck! Rewatching SPN and continuing on with True Blood is about as good as it gets for me ;) (though there is a small idiot part of me that kind of wants to watch Smallville...)

Its awesome, isnt it? SAM TOTALLY KNOWS MUAHAHA! It got me so ridiculously excited that I dumped my picspam and started looking for more caps like these, lolol, what is wrong with me.

I love reading about this in fanfic, and it makes sense too, Dean is the king of denial, and Cas, of cluelessness, so I always saw Sam as being the one who noticed it, and helped these guys to do something about it. And really, he knows Dean better than anyone else, he definitely would see it.
I know, its just caps, but makes me happy to see some little evidence of it in canon too, lol. Im totally going to go Sherlock on S4 and 5 as well. I NEED more such moments.

Ive been lucky, haha. And you arent doing too bad yourself. SPN + TB = some kind of awesome. They show Smallville here too, I dont think Im ever going to be interested again. :/

YOU CAN HIDE NOTHING FROM SAM! NOTHING!! xD Lol! That's awesome though, I hope you share your other finds ;)

Oh me too, it is one of my favourite things. I very much love Sam being very observant and noticing the subtle hints that there is more going on between them than both Dean and Castiel realise (or want to accept in Dean's case).

And really, he knows Dean better than anyone else, he definitely would see it.

THIS! It makes me all the more bugged that Sam was all about the Dean/Lisa near the finale when I am pretty convinced he would see what's there between Dean and Castiel. WE HAVE PHOTOGRAPHIC, CANONICAL PROOF!

xD I am not doing too badly, I just keep thinking September is awfully far away! Lol, I gave up on Smallville years ago...I don't even know why the sudden interest now.

TRUFAX! And Sam going Dr.Phill on them would be so darn funny, lmao! Of course I will, if I find something.

Yes, I always saw him as being the one to see the signs, and eventually, make Dean see.

God, ugh, thats why that moment was so high on my FAIL-meter, cuz dammit Sam knew Dean loved Cas,(you know what I mean) how the hell could he even suggest an apple-pie life with Lisa?

Its ok, you should give it a shot if you're curious, Ive heard the show's pretty good right now.

LOL! I'd so love Sam to go Dr.Phill on them, it's so him xD Yay!

Our Sammy always was a smart boy :D I love the idea of him making Dean see what is staring him right in the face!

Same here! Gah! I hated that Sam wanted Dean to go live the apple pie life with Lisa! *mutters darkly* I am going to hunt down the writers and knock some sense into them. Come on, Sammy knew for goodness sakes!

Lol, I might. I have TB to tide me over for now :)

It is. I want to see him giving a very srs bsns lecture to these guys, while Dean, not paying any attention, not so subtly flirts around and teases Cas, who obviously is trying to focus on what Sam is saying, haha.

He's defintely better with emotions than Dean (and Cas) is. And he's the only one who could help Dean. Also I believe that by having Sam suggest the apple-pie life with Lisa to Dean, the show not only slighted Dean/Cas, but insulted Sammy's understanding of his brother too, no way he would ask Dean to promise what he did, if he really truly knew Dean.

More than enough, but you will get frustrated with S2 pretty soon. But the Godric episodes are so worth it.

I would love that so much! It would be awesome xD

I agree, Sam has always been better with emotions and about talking things through. Dean has always been about burying things and Cas just doesn't get it (and when he does open up to Dean, Dean jokes about things which is classic Dean). I totally agree, I think Sam knows Dean better than that, and I said it on an earlier post but I think by having Sam back Lisa/Dean was implying that he really didn't know Dean now but rather the S3 Dean he had last been close to. Whereas I think he would really know there was something there with Cas, I think it is another reason he was a bit nicer to Cas when Dean was being a dick.

I am looking forward to Godric! I am on episode 5, does he show up soon? xD

Its kinda sad, it would be so much easier for Cas to open up and learn about human emotions, if the person on the other wasnt like Dean is. And sadly, Cas doesnt want that connection with anyone else but Dean, who is too emotionally stunted to actually deal with it.

I remember, and you know, it might be true too, cuz I dont think Sam understood the enormity of what being in hell did to Dean. He couldnt have! Dean had changed, and Sam just wasnt close enough to him to really see, I feel. So yeah, maybe he still thinks Dean is who he was in S3, and thats why he suggested going to Lisa? But he KNEW, Im not buying that he didnt see Dean/Cas... so why? My brain, it breaks.

You're right I feel, I think Sam could see Dean being distant and cold to him, and that Cas was miserable, so wanted to reach out, compensate a little. He's a good man. *nods*

I think he shows up in the fifth episode only, lol.

It really would. But yeah, Cas is connected to Dean, he's the first person (angel or human) who ever made him truly question what he was doing. I don't think Cas could ever have the same attachment to anyone else that he has with Dean. It's sad that Dean can't or won't see that :(

Yeah, he might understand a fraction now, but what Dean went through the only other person who saw even a glimpse of that was Cas. Sam can't hope to understand. Yeah, now I am confused beyond belief (but I think the writing has been kinda all over the place between one episode and the next) Sam saw what was there and still thought that Dean would be better off with Lisa? Hell no.

Our Sammy's a good boy *nods* I do really think this was the case, Sam reached out more as Dean became more distant (not that I don't think Cas and Sam were friends, something just changed after the mid-way point)

Aww man. Shame he's only about for one ep then xD

Cas cant possibly feel the way he does for Dean, for anyone else. And thats tragic, cuz if Dean fails to reciprocate, Cas would be lost. :(

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more S5 pisses me off. I dont think the writers even consulted each other, Ugh.

I actually do think that Sam and Cas were NOT friends, yes the show wanted us to believe that, Cas even said it in 513, but I didnt buy it. However in the last few episodes, when Dean started to be a dick to Cas, Sam made an effort to reach out to Cas, and he didnt really need to, you know, yet he did. Thats when I started to see the friendship.

Oh no, he's in like about 3, I meant to say that he appears for the first time, in the fifth episode.

Man...Dean/Cas just finds new ways to break my heart. I love those two so damn hard...I want Dean to reciprocate but I don't think he knows how :(

Yeah...S5 seems to have been all about clashing ideas. There are episodes I love, but then episodes that leave me like 'Huh, really?'

There was no proof of Cas and Sam being friends until around 99 Problems I think...which is when Sam reached out. Cas had said Sam was his friend (and I do believe he wouldn't have allowed anyone to hurt Sam because he is all about doing what's right for Dean and he knows how much Sam means to Dean) in 'The Song Always Remains the Same' but the real proof didn't come until later. And even then, I think their friendship will always be more Sam than Cas, because the only person Cas really connects with is Dean.

Oooh cool, cool :D I look forward to him then ^__^

YOU. GO WATCH ROYAL PAINS TOO. IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT.

I can't wait for the third season of TB; it's going to be so fucking awesome. And Smallville? Lololololololol, it used to be a great show, then started sucking, now it's slowly redeeming itself. :D

LOL! Okay, I will hunt down the downloads :D

I will totally manage to watch the rest of S2 by the end of this week so I am all prepared for S3 :D Oh smallville, I gave up on it many years ago, I don't know why I am curious about it again; the previews on tv made it look enticing!
