Authors will be expected to remix/write a fic based on a story previously written by your assigned author. There is no minimum word count.

Remix assignments will be randomly assigned and emailed privately by Sunday, March 16. The last day to sign up for the first round of this remix is Sunday, February 26.

I've written A&E stories but it's in French. Will it be okay or is it a English-speaking only challenge?

Hi, and thank you for your question.

Unfortunately, since we can't guarantee there will be any French speakers among our participants (and therefore someone who can read or remix your stories), we're going to have to limit this to an English-speaking only challenge.

If you'd like to participate in English (write a remix in English), I am open to it if you can provide English translations for your Arthur/Eames stories for the participants to read. Let me know if this is something you're interested in doing.

Quick question, is it going to be totally random or is it a switch? If I get Author A do they then get me too or can they have someone else?

It will not be a switch wherein Authors are assigned in reciprocal pairings. Everyone will be assigned someone to remix, and that person will not be assigned to remix them.

For example: Author A will be assigned to remix Author B, who will be assigned to remix Author C, who will be assigned to remix Author A.

Are authors able to dictate which fics are open to the remix, or can any fic within their works be chosen?

All of an author's fics will be considered fair game for remixing.
