I feel really tired and out of it and I have no idea how or why I feel this way. Weirdness. On another note, this feeling makes me delirious. So I'm warning you, I have king cake, and I'm not afraid to eat it.
Ya. I don't know where that came from. Anyway, here's a song that's been in my head all day which I sang walking through the woods last night at 2 in the morning: (this band's great; I saw them with dead confederate here in Richmond at the canal club)
"Wolves at Night" - Manchester Orchestra
I could of sworn that I saw you knee-bent on the bedside,
Your arms stretched like a kite that time will eventually grow on.
I'm so sure of it
And I've got a reason far too long, for songs
That tells why your legs and arms are breaking.
Cause I confide in wolves at night
Oh have you seen my baby girl, she's lonely. lonely.
I've got to crucify myself if I am gonna lay with you
I've got to promise that I'll finish all the
things I promised I would finish too
I've got to make my, make my bed if I am gonna lay with you ------->[ASIDE: this line is awesome in my book]
Cause a disaster's a disaster no matter what
Christian language you drag it through
Cause I confide in wolves at night
Well have you seen my baby girl, she's lonely, so lonely
Cause I confide in wolves at night
Where all just virgins lose their child, so lonely, so lonely
Alright Alright
I swear I did what I could for your rights,
And You swear you did what you could for my eyes
And I'll try something, try nothing, try anything
I swear I did what I could for your rights,
You swear you did what you could for my eyes
And I'll try something, for nothing, try anything.
Alright
I swear I did what I could for your rights,
And You swear you did what you could for my eyes
And I'll try something, for nothing, try anything.
How dare you, how dare you?
How dare you, how dare...you?
