Lakeland
I went to Lakeland today.
I felt like such a stranger. Like a tourist visiting an old vacation spot long forgotten. It did not seem like I belonged there. More like I was an outsider, than a recent resident. It seems the place is changing, and since I left I have lost the part of me that felt any type of "belonging" with it.
I used to feel such an attachment to the city, now nothing? It was very strange. I think Lakeland lost any feeling of "home" that it once possessed, and now I think Tampa has taken over its place.
My home is Tampa now.
