There is an instrumental filler track on Low Level Owl vol. 1 called Bird of Paradise. I have had it on repeat for the last twenty minutes (it's two and a half minutes long so this would be like the seventh iteration or something) and I don't think I could ever get bored of it. There exists no calmer music than this. It is serene and beautiful and simple and elegant. I want to watch an episode of The West Wing (I appear to have accidently started going through it all again, again) but I don't want to stop listening to this. I have turned off scrobbling for a while or my chart will just fill up with Appleseed Cast again.
I am a little drunk. That might not be helping.
Today Brendan Fraser spat at me and Jackie Chan tried to beat up Jet Li. These things are awesome. Journey to the Centre of the Earth 3D would not be a good movie without the 3D. It wouldn't be a terrible movie, it'd just be straight to DVD dumb boy's own adventure. With the 3D it is great. The plot, if you want it: Brendan Fraser, the boy from Bridge to Terabithia and their sexy female guide fall down a whole into the centre of the world and use Jules Verne's novel to get out.
It was fun. So was The Forbidden Kingdom in which - oh wait. Half an hour is apparently, as much as I can take. - Kung Fu happens in pretty ways. Jet Li fights lots of people, Jackie Chan fights lots of people. Best of all, Jet Li fights Jackie Chan in an incredibly long fight scene that involves as many styles of martial arts as they could throw in. (Levodopa is pretty awesome instrumental music too.) I really feel like I need to say more but I'm quite tired and I'm just going to fall onto my bed and stare at things for a while.
I don't have any food. I'm going to have to go shopping again tomorrow. I hate it when that happens. I hope I get paid soon; I'm into my overdraft again.
Sleep.
