...I'll watch you from the rooftops and burn your world to ashes

So it turns out the muscles in my butt are essential for dodging. I know this because today they hurt lots. Yesterday we did war with nerf guns. Nerf war is more fun than real war because you can dodge the bullets and even if they hit you it's not so bad. And at the end of the day you still know if you won or lost, so why not replace real war with nerf war?

Anyway, yes. Very much yes. I totally captured the flag in Capture The Flag and it involved a lot of running, which is not something I'm good at but fortunately neither is anyone else in gamessoc. Hiding behind tables on the other hand is something many of us are good at. In my finest hour I managed to take out Grant, Ben and Dave from behind a table before ninja-ing Danny. Unfortunately then it was just me left against Charlie's kids and they are a legion of two; I never stood a chance.

(feel your heart it breaks within your chest now, try to get some rest now, sleep's not coming easy for a while)

I have trouble getting to sleep. This is not a recent thing, it's just that annoyance at not being able to just switch off is something that comes and goes, and at the moment it's here and I am annoyed. Not that I'm trying to get to sleep now at quarter past three in the afternoon but I was then at quarter past three in the morning. Since I was home from the war by eleven I thought I might as well set my alarm for eight and decide in the morning whether I wanted to go to the Team Meeting or not. At eight it went off and I lay back to weigh up the pros and cons of leaving my bed. Twenty minutes later I decided I would go, but it turns out an hour and a half had passed in those twenty minutes, so I figured I'd just stay in bed until midday instead.

Since then I've watched some TV I've watched before and I've played some games I've played before so I think I'm about ready to go read something I've not read before.

This does not feel like an ending, but it is.
