My hair is everywhere, screaming infidelities and taking its wear.
My hair is long enough for me chew. For me, this is fantastic news. It means that very soon, my hair will be longer than it has ever been before. The last time my hair got to this length, Megan Bowers started a petition for me to get my hair cut, which was signed by a great number of people. Not this time. This time, theres no school to say 'John, your hair is getting a bit longer than school regulations allow.' This time, its just me and a mirror. And come the day that I look in the mirror, and think "Haircut needed", I will have my hair cut. But not until then.
It may seem to you like I care about the length of my hair maybe a little too much, but through school, my hair was the one thing that seperated me from everyone else. I did not have the cool hair, but I did have the long hair. It also seperated me physically, in that I can hide behind it. I don't like it when its so short I can't actually see it.
But anyway. Music. In IRC, snoo decided to list all the music she had, which got me thinking 'how many albums do I actually own?' This doesnt include downloaded music, copied music, or the CDs my brother has that I steal every time I go home. This doesn't inlcude singles, and it doesnt include compilations. This is just albums and EPs I've bought, or have had bought for me as a present.
149.
And you know what that means? That means that Fightstar will be #150. Rock on, me.
Thats a minimum of 1,490 songs. The most expensive is Smashing Pumpkins - Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, which is the only double album I own. The cheapest are Neither/Neither World - Alive With The Taste of Hell and Gasp - Drome Triler of Puzzle Zoo People, both of which I got for 50p each at the Tower Records closing down sale. Neither of which are particularly good. Out of 149 albums, only 2 are for solo artists, both of whom have names beginning with R. I don't know why, but I think immunology might like that information.
Incidently, the song I'm listening to at the moment is not on any of those albums, and contains within its lyrics the password for my computer.
I have work to do.
music,
my hair
