My body is covered in a great many minor cuts and scratches and I have no idea where any of them came from.
My Xbox has been playing up. It crashed a week or so back, some error about graphics descalers or something and a dude from work who fixes Xboxes fixed it for me, yet now the problem is back. It's round at Rob's again tonight and hopefully should be back here tomorrow all in fine working order, ready for when I buy Mass Effect 2 on Monday. Bioware are to the computer games world what Jimmy Eat World are to music, or Christopher Nolan is to films. In my eyes they can do no wrong. Well, almost. Inventory systems have never been their strong point and what the fuck were they doing with that Mako, but I mean the finished product is still miles better than the competition.
The films I am most excited for this year include Ridley Scott's take on Robin Hood, Edgar Wright's adaptation of Scott Pilgrim and - the one I'm going to link to the trailer for and the reason for this paragraph - Christopher Nolan's
Inception. Let me list some sexy names of sexy actors involved for you: Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy, Michael Caine. I think this is the film for me this year; the brilliant one that gets nowhere near the attention it deserves, like In Bruges was in 2008 and Moon was in 2009.
I'm feeling like I should be more creative. We bought a video camera out of the team fund at the cinema for us to make our own short films and things. Every year there's a nationwide short film competition in the company. Norwich's entry last year won Best Actress. I'd like to get involved in that. I'd like to make a short film. I think I need to work my way up to that though, as you're currently reading the most creative thing I've done all month.
So I think microfiction is the plan. I'll start posting one a week here, hopefully gradually getting better and longer. Suggest some subjects for me, please.
