I've gotten a couple of questions as to why I dropped off the face of the earth for a month. I'll answer at least one of them - or at least why I've dropped off of one place:
I ran out of money and couldn't afford RO. So it was a forced month hiatus. I was getting a bit bored of the game anyway - when I come back it'll be fresher. I've been keeping up, though. 8)
The other questions are more difficult to answer, and I won't do them here. So, instead...
I decided to try something old and something new. Namely, the old is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (which I've been meaning to watch for...the past year, but never got around to it), and the new is Slap-up Party: Arad Senki. (Which I've heard...rumors about. And by that, I mean I've been introduced to porn. Lots of it.)
Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to the really awesome parts yet of either - I've just started both. I'm going to watch Episode 3 of Gurren Lagann, and just finished Episode 1 of Arad Senki. The former, I've heard nothing but good things about, and I agree so far. (I do disagree with the assessment that Kamina is CAPSLOCK, though. He seems more like the type to say everything in giant font.) The latter...well, it's based off an MMO. I'm just hoping it turns out better than Ragnarok: The Animation (which I simultaneously want to watch and fear watching because I've heard it's so bad).
So far, it looks really good. I'm already kind of pulled into the established arc so far - the main character is cursed as part demon and he's looking for a cure. Sue me.
