By way of skiddy:

I distinctly recall pirates and .. gay sex?
..wut

...i lol'd.

Mostly because it's so true it hurts.

In other news: Got debit card, credit card, AND paycheck. And I checked my e-mail and the genies at RO were all, "k ur order iz thru lolz." I'm happy. ^_^

Also, we tried to visit my grandmother's plot. But got lost in the cemetery. Yeah.

Also, the cemetery is in Linden. Linden smells like ass because of the 43892784389 oil refineries. You'd think after nearly 24 years in Jersey, and the parts filled with guidos at that (let's see...Bloomfield, then Nutley, then Belleville, then back to Nutley?), I'd be used to Jersey funk. (Also keep in mind, Linden's 10 miles away. I also live within 5 miles of the Meadowlands - as in, the swamp.)

Nope. The stank is just as powerful now as it's always been. Moreso, in fact - I almost gagged, even with the windows down.

In Jersey's defense, though, it's not ALL stank. Some of it is pretty, and - maybe I'm just used to it - but my town isn't really stank (though it's your typical old suburb, complete with characters straight out of The Sopranos). Really, it's not half bad.

Except for 1/9 and the Turnpike around Linden. I've experienced Manhattan stank and Newark stank. (Manhattanites will blame it on what's across the river. No, I'm sad to say, the stank is coming from inside the island - the subway, at that.) Turnpike stank is a whole other level.
