I accidentally turned to MTV. "A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila" (yes, the Myspace chick) was on. So, I missed the first episode with the party with the guys and the party with the lesbians (well, I tuned in just at the very end). The next episode (which I'm watching right now) has the pool party.
So, she has the guys sitting by the pool. Then she's like, "Guys...I have something to tell you."
Then the lesbians file out one by one.
"I'm...a bisexual."
THE MYSPACE CHICK JUST CAME OUT OF THE CLOSET ON NATIONAL TELEVISION. WOW.
I don't know whether to be disturbed, embarrassed for her, turned on, or all three at the same time. (Right now, I'm leaning towards all three because Tila in bed with a chick would be kind of hot, but on the other hand...that was quite possibly the most blatant publicity stunt MTV has done in its 26 years of history.)
At any rate, this is truly a history-making moment in trainwreck television. It was SO bad, but at the same time, it was amazing because it was quite possibly the trashiest thing I've ever seen on television (and I'm in the generation that grew up with Paris Hilton and "Who Wants To Marry A Multi-Millionaire").
And now this black dude is beating up this white dude. Wow, what the hell. And there's a chick named Lala who's a manhater who just walked off the show. This is truly amazing on so many levels.
