Merry Christmas.

I'm over at my grandparents' apartment in the Bronx, and I bring a couple of volumes of Chobits to read. I accidentally leave them lying around, and Uncle Gene starts thumbing through them.

Being that Chobits is...uh...Chobits, hilarity ensued.

This is the last time I ever bring that manga to any family function ever. Though at least it wasn't Legal Drug, thank God. (I finished the first volume of that, and it was...pretty cool, if very, very yaoi.)

And...Merry Christmas to all. I snuck under the tree and grabbed a couple of presents. Right now, I've gotten:

-a Lego bulldozer
-a watch. It's a sporty Timex, meaning it has a leather/fabric strap, which is nice. (I've gotten rashes from metal, so yeah.)
-new scarf (which I kind of picked out - I said that I liked it when I was buying Grandpa and Dad presents, but I didn't want to buy it since I'd just bought myself one)
-new jacket. Which is something I've wanted for a long time since my old one is an ugly tan...thing. This one's a really nice navy pea coat, which I have NO idea how my mom got out of the store since I was there with her.

Except for the watch, they're all things that I've kind of mentioned that I thought would be cool. (The Legos and coat I'd mentioned when Mom and I were picking out a coat for Dad, and I already mentioned the scarf.)

And last night, I got a very nice card from my grandparents...with $75 inside. I'm happy.

I ended up buying my family a couple of presents - some nice loungewear for my grandfather, a new pullover for my dad, and giftcards for my mom, Aunt Marion, and grandmothers.

The giftcard for Mom is for iTunes. I also got her an iPod Nano case. I'll take it she'll be happy when she opens the present from Dad.

As for Aunt Marion, I got her a card for Barnes and Noble, and then put it in a small box of Godiva chocolates (dear God, B&N is a lifesaver).

hurr hurr i am twelve, anime, bouncy, negroes gone wild, lawls
