HOW IS THIS DISGUSTING ;-;

“want me to sing you to sleep?”

“that’d be nice,” sehun mutters sleepily, but there’s that little smile at the corner of his mouth which luhan is so terribly fond of. “we haven’t done that since trainee days.”

“oh well,” luhan shrugs, his hands never ceasing in their movements in sehun’s hair. “never too late, right?”

this sounds so natural i cannot express properly

leaning up, sehun presses a languid kiss to a spot on luhan’s throat, his little way of saying thank you. luhan’s still singing, so as he presses his lips down sehun can feel the vibrations running through luhan’s voice box and the sensation is oddly familiar, oddly comforting; it should seem awkward, but somehow it just seems right and more intimate than anything else. the kiss only lasts for a few seconds before sehun draws away, but then they lock gazes and share a secret smile in which thousands of words lurk unsaid.

it is so deliciously sweet and fluffy i will eat this up day after day forever and on

when junmyeon comes to turn off the lights and check on them, he sees the both of them curled up around each other, luhan’s head nestled in the crook of sehun’s shoulder as the smaller boy shifts and presses closer to sehun even in his sleep. smiling, junmyeon flips the light switch and tugs the blanket higher over both of them before tiptoeing to the door and shutting it gently, careful not to wake the two. after all, tomorrow’s another long day.

sometimes, when there are little pockets of silence and calm in the violent waves of the turbulent sea baekhyun calls his life, baekhyun sits and reflects. he’s never really been an introspective person, preferring to always be out there in the thick of things. on the frontlines, under the spotlight, never shying away from having eyes trained on him. sometimes, however, being glamorous and popular baekhyun gets tiring, and quiet, tired baekhyun appears.

the second baekhyun thinks about a lot of things, but most importantly, he thinks the most about park chanyeol.

this sounds so poetic how to write like this haha and you're younger than me ;-; oh i feel old

eventually, somehow, inexplicably, they’d fallen in love. it was explosive, always full of ups and downs and uncertainties, but baekhyun liked it because chanyeol was able to make him laugh, to make him forget about things that made him unhappy. chanyeol was sort of like morphine - enough to dull the pain temporarily, maybe even for a long period of time, but never enough to fix the injury, to go right to the heart of things and knit the broken flesh back together. it had been nice while it lasted, definitely, yet when they burnt out and fell apart baekhyun had definitely felt a certain sense of relief. everything had been rubbing him the wrong way - chanyeol’s protectiveness turning into stifling possessiveness, his sassiness chipping away at his words until they became jagged and hurtful. slowly, the laughter had died away, only to be replaced by awkward silences and mournful glances up till the point where baekhyun decided he’d had enough and walked out.

sometimes, baekhyun just likes to sit in white noise - tv on, earphones jammed in, but he’s not really listening to anything other than his own thoughts. and then, in the lack of loud obnoxious laughter and deep rumbling voices, baekhyun realises he misses chanyeol.

i have a very obvious selu bias omfg i realised that one's the only happy fluffy exo drabble in here 8( i don't think i can actually bear to write angsty!selu ok maybe i should try one day hehe.
i'm glad the selu one sounded natural!! i mean i didn't rly wanna write something that sounded contrived/cliched idk but i just wanted it to be about them and their little daily interactions so i'm glad that came across okay n_n;;
