After three years of feeling like an outsider in his ordinary public high school, Jesse Eisenberg transfers to Oak Hill -a prestigious boarding school in Poughkeepsie- in the wake of his best and only friend, Joe Mazzello -who spends his time rapping and referencing Harry Potter. Jesse meets Armie Hammer and Josh Pence, stars of the school’s rowing team, mischievous partners in crime who enjoy creating havoc. Jesse becomes part of the greatest group of friends ever, and hey! This group contains a girl -Emma Stone, the feisty, flame-haired object of Joe’s desire. The best part of it all? Jesse meets the mysterious scholarship student, Andrew Garfield. Andrew has spent his entire life being forced into acting like an adult, and Jesse still has the interests and mindset of a child. The pair click instantly, and eventually teach other the true meaning of what it is to be a teenager.
