"British actor and Twilight star Robert Pattinson said he would be open to taking over the lead role in “Doctor Who” once David Tennant departs it in 2010.
There’s already a ton of speculation about who the next Doctor Who will be. So far, most of the rumors have been centered on Paterson Joseph, an actor who has previously worked with Steven Moffat, the new head writer for “Doctor Who”. No permanent decision has been reached yet..."
Wait...say WHAAAT?! Eeew. Ewewew. I'm sorry, I loved this guy in Harry Potter, but, no! Why would they even think that? Blegh.
As for Paterson Joseph, I think the Marquis DeCarabas (from the Neverwhere series on BBC) would make a better doctor than him, don't you think?
