I had almost the BEST day today since I've moved down here. I spent this morning at the library with my roommates son. We went to the park and to the grocery store too. Funny enough, everything we bought at the grocery store was stuff that he liked too. He was incredibly well mannered and slightly goofy. It was fun. I didn't even mind when a older couple thought he was my kid. Because, well, as I said, he was being REALLY good.
Tonight I'm figuring out bills. I should be okay for about the next month. I'm relieved about that.
I've had several people comment that they're surprised I'm so happy. A few that have congratulated me on my lack of job (very temporary) and have then asked if it's okay that they've congratulated. Perfectly fine. One guy I know who said he barely recognizes me now that I'm so much happier.
I'm getting a haircut tomorrow. Only two months later than I should have. I put some of the money that I got paid aside for clothes as well. I have nearly nothing to wear in the warmer weather now, and I know it'll only get worse towards summer.
Peak spring wildflower season is supposed to be the first week of March. I'm hoping I can get out and take some photos.
The only thing that could make today better would be snuggling with a guy. Oh how I hate being so pathetic. I'm going to go read and knit, and listen to the new Mountain Goats album for the seventh time.
Btw....horribly jealous that TMN is playing this next weekend back home. I've finally had to retire my t-shirt. (thus the "I have nothing to wear" comment above.)
My middle nephew is no longer allergic to dogs. He and his younger brother were conspiring at the dr office of what they should name their dog (because, of course, since he isn't allergic to them they're totally getting one...haha)
