Home from one event, on my way to the next one.
What a day, I'll be glad when it's over so I can relax. The reception went like a dream, the Sierra Club is now officially sponsoring/hosting Just Within Reach in Canada. Lots of press, Kevin and Aj were delightful, I have to admit. They've got their 'act' down to a fine art. Kevin does his 'just a good old boy from Kentucky' schtick and AJ is the ever faithful friend, just supporting as best he can. I had to laugh watching AJ be so 'on' and thinking about our dancing last night. He caught my eye a few times and winked, he's such fun. I could be friends with him
Unlike his tall friend. What a jerk. He got all pissy last night at AJ and me, he practically had a tantrum, but instead he picked up some bimbette and took off. Wonder if his wife knows about the way he acts when he's not home? I mentioned that it was too bad about the separation to AJ, and by his initial reaction I know now that it's absolute bullshit! Bet he uses that line all the time.
Tonight's the fun part of the event, the party at the Rivoli. Dancing, and drinking, and flirting...I'm ready for some total craziness. The girls are at ma mere's for the night, so I can come in late and sleep in late.
Oh, I've got to remember to ask Denis about setting up some golf for AJ. He mentioned that's what he does with a lot of his free time, now that he's C&S. There's another reason to like him, he's got willpower!
