My poor dusty lj...
I've been so busy the past few days that I've barely had time to read, much less sit still and write something. Between my bf moving back into town, my grandmother having some minor surgery to check for any signs of breast cancer (none, thank god!) and just the normal eating, sleeping, working and what have you, I'm kinda *weird*. And *blah*. But still here, and ready to get back to work on the *3*stories I'm in the middle of writing. I'm hoping to have my first ever S/A one done by Sunday *wags finger sternly at self* and I might see if I can post it at spring spangel. And I really hated to be so rushed these past few days, 'cause there has been some fabulous stuff posted lately that I'm having to read on the run, and then comment on when I get a chance. I haven't even looked at Bloodclaim, 'cause if I do I'll spend all night reading what I've been missing instead of what I have planned for tonight.
Just a few pimps of what I'm glad I haven't missed:
thatotherperv has been churning out some damn good stuff, slash, het, and kinks galore. Read anything she writes. It's that good.
sparrow2000 has started a new story and is teasing (me) with some beautiful imagary and a cliffhanger of a first chapter that makes me want to lure her in with hugs and then strangle her. (At least until she coughs up the next chapter...)
spring_with_xan has had some very good stuff posted, todays entry had dirtybad cops getting blowjobs in the backseat of their cop car. I'm still melting from that one-gah! I plan on reading everything, and so far I haven't been disappointed.
sexymermaidis hitting a major kink of mine that I really didn't think could be done with S/A : praire kink! Oh me of little faith, I am so hooked on this series, and so in awe of her ability to write such beautiful words. Hired Man just *rocks* me. (read the story, get the * joke)
And
wtf_is_shame added another chapter to her ongoing Xander story. This story is good, and the only thing that could make it better would be faster updates.
I also am rereading
tolerik's series Stranger Things. It's S/X and A/Doyle and a little bit of mix and matching that I have to read with the door closed so people won't ask about the funny noise. This is a nice, long series with lots of smut, twists and turns, emotions, and action that I'm so glad I found. Link to the homepage can be found on her lj.
