Writing update...

Huzzah!
I'm so very excited that I've got the first chapter of 'Single Handedly' (my new Silmarillion fanfiction) completely typed, edited, and published (online).

I've been working on it a LOT through all my notebooks and with many loose pieces of paper with reference notes and such for it. I've read Silmarillion twice, the history of the Elves and essentially the 'Bible' of the Lord of the Rings. It's extremely epic, very sad in many parts, and very beautifully done. I'm the only one in my family to have read it all the way, being as it was first off my brother's copy, and then he never read it all the way through (he's gone to the same point like twice, now) because it IS quite in depth. But I love that aspect of it. ;D
I've relented, and I'm going to let my little sister read it -- if she desires to do so -- even though she's not read the Silmarillion, and I will have to explain quite a bit to her. But then I explained quite a bit in 'Faril Nin' as well because I got very detailed in it. So I don't mind. I just adore her for reading my works, even in their rough drafts, and giving me encouraging praise. ^_^ I love her.
So, my brother (older) has a VERY brief summary of how the story will play out and thinks that my title, 'Single Handedly,' is balogna. But I REALLY think it's the only thing that makes sense! I don't want to make it an elvish title this go round, though I mostly do in the past few fictions I've writ, just because it's enough to explain more than HALF the things going on in the story to non-Tolkien readers, that I really don't wish to deal with explaining another foreign title's meaning to them also.
Call me lazy, I probably am. My sister is jealous because I have the time to write this. Poor thing, she has all her school, and homework, and soccer-practice to keep her from being the beautiful author I know she is. ^_^ She actually has a fantastic idea and rough outline for a Civil War fiction that will be so well-done once she gets a moment to write more than character names and descriptions.

Well, so everyone encourage and comment as much as you will for this new fiction, I'm very proud of it and once it's completed I may have some final overall editing to do, but as I post it will be semi-finished all in all.
Thank you for those who HAVE given me feedback, and in advance for those who will. *_*
