Graduation

Well, today is it.

the end of four short years of hard work and hard partying. its the most bittersweet goodbye in my life so far. i cant wait to head off to college, but a big part of me is setting my heels firmly in the dirt, too scared to say goodbye.

i look at this day with a smile and some tears. woodbridge high has been pretty much my haven for the past four years. where i learned, cried, laughed, sang, dance, acted. it was the beacon of my knowledge.

i dont want to think of next years seniors as taking my place. they are simply relighting the torch, of sorts. i hope i left as big an impact on my friends as they did on me. i will never forget the late nights, and early mornings.

high school is all about dedication, and devotion. i love my school, not matter how broke and ghetto it was. i will miss the weird smells, hot spots and freezing classrooms. you don't realize how much you love something till its gone.

high school was such a great time of my life, and its so weird to say WAS instead of IS, but it IS over. lockers r closed and books are handed back. tonight, the culmination of all my years starts.

so, goodbye barrons. goodbye teachers and principals. goodbye graduates. i hope they know i love them all, and we are all growing up. seems like yesterday i was in Pre-K and here i am, 13 years later.

dont let the memories slip from our minds, and take a piece of woodbridge to whatever path your life takes. I LOVE YOU ALL! PEACE OUT WOOD!
