Walking in a Winter Wonderland...
Okay, as promised...
HOMECOMING '04
I had an amazing time, even if the dj did suck horribly. Steph went up and asked him to play a slow song, and he said now cause he would get yelled at. It was ridiculous. But Mrs. Sitzler took care of it! She got him to play a good one too =) Anyways... everyone came here around 6:15 on Friday for pictures. Everyone being me, Jordan, Jamie, Ben, Katie, Steve, Steph, Gabe, Krystin, and Erin. We had a good time. We sat around for a little bit, then headed over to the dance. Like usual, it took quite awhile for everyone to actually start dancing. I physically CAN'T dance. I just can't do it. I mean, I'll do the Electric Slide, Raining Men, Cotton Eyed Joe, and the Cha Cha Slide. But other than that... I can't. The amazing Calculus class did the Mississippi Mud Slide and the Houston Slide, which was fun. We practiced a long time for that! It took the stupid DJ almost 2 and a half hours to play a slow song, and 2 seconds after the song started Dana came up to me and told me that I had to go line up too because I was an executive board member. I told her no, but I ended up going anyway, but only because I HAD to. So the dance ended at 11, and we went back to Ben's for breakfast (we = everyone at my house for pics + Alex, Steph, Amy, Matt, Chris, and Jamie). It was fun! Then the girls (minus Krystin) and Gabe slept over Steph's house. We watched ELF!!! Well, I watched about 15 minutes of it before I fell asleep. When we woke up the next morning, we attempted to make Gabe breakfast in bed by locking him in the basement, but it didn't work out too well. And hey Steph- ya gotta COOK the sausage before you put it in the eggs!! I had 2 slices of apple pie, a HUGE plate full of eggs/sausage/cheese, and an apple for breakfast! I took Jamie home, and that was the end of my homecoming. I'm gonna go ahead and say that it was the best one yet. =D
